Senckenberg Museum of Natural History
The Senckenberg Museum of Natural History (Senckenberg Naturmuseum) is one of the largest museums of its kind in Europe. More than 10,000 exhibits are on view here, including the greatest number of dinosaurs in Germany, an impressive world of birds and the gallery of mammals. Cross time and space and get up close and personal with many of the original objects. What lifeforms used to exist? How did they evolve? Which fascinating animals and plants exist today?
The Dinosaur Hall brings the giants of the past to life. The themed rooms “Deep Sea” and “Maritime Research” allow visitors to experience a fascinating universe under water.
