The Museum Giersch of the Goethe University presents changing exhibitions on diverse topics from the fields of art, culture and science – with a special focus on the Rhein-Main region. The museum was inaugurated in 2000 by the Giersch Foundation and since 2015 has been part of Frankfurt’s Goethe University. Its exhibitions, publication and education and communications program are geared towards the broader general public. As a university institution the museum cooperates with partners from the fields of research and teaching as well as the Goethe University collection.

The exhibition center is housed in a listed Neoclassicist villa on the bank of the River Main and dating from the early 20th century.
