Welcome to Frankfurt

To make it easier for people to arrive in Frankfurt am Main, they need easy access to information that is important for them. Whether it's learning the German language, finding their way around the authorities, looking for a job or accommodation, or setting up a new social environment: numerous public institutions, associations and initiatives are on hand to provide targeted information on these and many other issues.

Help and orientation in the languages of origin are offered by the local offices for migration counselling – free of charge and confidential. The flyer "Welcome to Frankfurt" provides an overview of the services available.

Newcomers Festival

The festival takes place every year in September in the Römer. Newcomers to Frankfurt are actively supported by various associations to help them get started in their new home.
