Main Plaza
The typical New York high-rise building style of the 1920s was the godfather of the Main Plaza in the Deutschherrn Quarter (Deutschherrnviertel), located in the Sachsenhausen district. Manhattan’s famous American Radiator Building from the year 1924 was one of the main models for this building. In addition to a typical perforated façade with a coloured-brick facing, the Main Plaza is also crowned with 84 golden pinnacles.
