Service description

You will receive the mortuary certificate (“Leichenschauschein”) from the doctor who has registered the death. It consists of a confidential and a non-confidential section.

You will receive the confidential section in a sealed envelope, possibly in two different envelopes.

The Registry Office (“Standesamt”) needs all sections of the mortuary certificate to certify a death.
