Please refer to the respective homepage for the loan periods of the individual eServices.You do not have to actively return e-media. Access to these items expires automatically at the end of the loan period.  

Please note the return dates:

When borrowing, you will receive a receipt on which your return data are noted. You can also see in your media account when media must be returned. Please note these dates. If you return the media too late, you will otherwise have to pay a fee.

Renewal:

Media can be renewed up to 2 times, as long as they have not been reserved or reminded. The renewal must take place on the day of the return date at the latest.

E-media are automatically blocked after the loan period has expired; you do not have to take any action yourself.

 If you provide us with your e-mail address, we will automatically inform you when your loan period expires and you need to take action.

Please contact your local library immediately! Your account is now blocked and no renewals or loans are possible.

You will be charged for overdue items:

2,50 € per media unit and started overdue week.

After the third week (7,50 € per item) the overdue notices will be issued.

Children and young people (up to the age of 18) and holders of institutional ID cards only pay € 2.50 per media unit after the third week of overdue items.

Processing fee for the replacement of a lost, damaged or incomplete medium: 7 €.

Please note: Overdue fines are not a source of income but serve to ensure that media are returned to our stock and are available to you all again.
