Renewals and Reservations

• Online: With a password (you will receive this in your library) and library card number. To do this, go to our catalogue and click Login to enter your account.
• E-mail: Send a message with your library card number and the media you wish to renew to: verlaengerung.zentralbibliothek@stadtbuecherei.frankfurt.deInternal Link 
  Note: Only when you receive a reply has your e-mail reached us and been processed. Otherwise, please enquire by telephone.

• You can place a reservation for borrowed items in our catalogue using your password.
• When pre-ordering, you can choose the library where you would like to pick up the item. 
• If you give us your e-mail address, we will automatically inform you when the items have arrived.
• The collection period is usually six opening days, you will find the exact period of availability in your mail.
• You can also place a reservation in the Onleihe and will be informed by e-mail when the item is ready for download.

Please note, however, that you can only digitally reserve items that are currently on loan. If you would like to reserve an item that is available in the library, please contact us by telephone.
