Service description

In the Citizens Advisory Service we have a wide range of programmes, flyers and brochures on all important city events, exhibitions and scheduled programmes ready for you. We offer individual advice and comprehensive information material for new residents of Frankfurt.

The direct line to the city administration via the 115 service number

In the past, the “Römertelefon” service was available for all your questions. More than 1,000,000 people have taken advantage of this special service offering by the city since 1969. The 115 service number offered by the City of Frankfurt am Main has taken over this function. From Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, our staff will answer your questions to the city administration at local rates and those who have a landline flat rate, can contact the 115 free of charge.

Citizens' service from a single source

Since 1 August 2014, the Citizens Advisory Service has been part of the Citizens' Office, Statistics and Elections ("Bürgeramt, Statistik und Wahlen"). Together with the extensive services of the Citizens' Office ("Bürgeramt"), the public authority telephone service number 115 and the personal service offerings in the Citizens Advisory Service, we can now offer a comprehensive citizens’ service from one source.

The Citizens Advisory Service is once again located in the historical city centre - both tried-and-tested, as well as new services are available on the ground level of the building “Hinter dem Lämmchen 6”

On 7 March, the new rooms of the Citizens Advisory Service in the restored historical centre were officially opened. Under the motto: “Tradition meets modern age”, the Citizens Advisory Service offers both tried-and-tested as well as new information formats on the ground level of the building “Hinter dem Lämmchen 6”. Brochures, information leaflets and event programmes, sorted under the topics of “Sports & Leisure”, “City Services”, “Culture & Museums” and “Events”, to make it easy for you to find what you are looking for.

On our new interactive screen, we have an abundance of information and different topics for you to discover. Whether you are looking for key facts about Frankfurt, current pictures of our city or the current political composition of the city parliament. You will find not only all the new and old information forms, but also some you certainly did not know yet.
