The Early Prevention and Support Network provides services which are supportive, preventive and focused on parents‘ respective resources. They relieve and strengthen parents who care for and raise infants and young children. If necessary, the services start as early as pregnancy.
THE EARLY PREVENTION AND SUPPORT NETWORK (“Das Netzwerk Frühe Hilfen”)
In Frankfurt am Main, expectant parents and families with young children have access to a wide range of very different services that assist them in questions of development, upbringing, care and support for their children.
To ensure that the services and their possibilities and potential reach the families, Early Prevention and Support also encompasses networking and cooperation between institutions and services. Interdisciplinary cooperation between the representatives of different support systems in an Early Prevention and Support Network is important in order to identify the burdens on families at an early stage and to provide fitting support.
In the Early Prevention and Support NetworkExternal Link (German only), professionals from different areas of child and youth welfare and health care exchange their knowledge about their respective services and coordinate them with each other.
