New Website

The Foreigners' Registration Office has a new website that provides more than 100 online applications and services for a wide range of possible requests. There is an application tailored to each enquiry.

Please note that the page with the overview of applications and options on offer is currently only available in German due to technical requirements. Once you have selected your application form and entered your name and email address, you will be able to choose between ten languages to proceed with your application. These ten languages are Chinese (Mandarin), German, English, French, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Tigrinian.

What changes for you?

From now on, you can get in touch with the Foreigners' Registration Office electronically via the new website with new online services in a secure way. For the application and for any other contact, you will find a corresponding contact form on the website.

The previously existing e-mail boxes have been switched off and can no longer be used.

You no longer need to fill out the paper application forms that were previously required. Please use our online services on the website.

Our online services will provide you with all the information you need to submit your application and the necessary documents. You can now also submit your application using your mobile phone.

On each page you will find a list of documents that need to be prepared for your request. As soon as you have all the necessary documents, you can submit your application at the bottom of the page.
