Linen House
On the southern side of the Cathedral opposite the Tower, we find Frankfurt’s oldest ‘textile shop’: the Linen House (Leinwandhaus) dating back to the year 1399. Well into the nineteenth century, it served as a trading place for cloth and linen. Today it houses the Museum of Comical Art - Caricatura Museum.
