From the record to the hard drive
Record owners who want to save their treasures permanently have the opportunity to digitise their favourite pieces.
Two record players with digital recorders are available in the music library.
LPs or singles brought along can be burned on CD or saved on a USB stick. In addition to a storage medium, those interested should bring time because digitising takes just as long as playing the records.
To shorten the wait, the library offers borrowable headphones. This way, you can listen to your favourite music or audio book at the same time.
The Vinyl Bar can be visited during the opening hours of the music library.
This service is free of charge. An introduction and assistance with digitisation is available at our workshops or on request.
