About us

The Frankfurt International Affairs Office supervises and coordinates the 17 partnership relations as well as the international work of the City of Frankfurt am Main. It cultivates international partnerships and runs programmes with an international focus. Its tasks include organising programmes for official foreign delegations visiting Frankfurt, as well as planning and running City of Frankfurt delegation trips.

The Office coordinates the City of Frankfurt's participation in European and international city networks. It supports interested institutions and associations, e.g. in the educational, scientific and cultural fields and in the development of international cooperation – mainly within the framework of city partnerships. Furthermore, it is a founding member of “Frankfurt International Stammtisch” that serves as a networking platform for international expats in the city.
