Your City, Your City Hall, Your Day

Welcome to the Open Day at Frankfurt am Main City Hall! On Saturday, 17 May, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can explore the Römer City Hall and discover your opportunities for democratic participation and co-determination in city politics.

Get to know the work of the municipal offices, businesses and companies, visit the rooms where the City Council and the Municipal Administration ("Magistrat") hold their meetings, take a look at the Kaisersaal, the wedding hall (“Trausaal”), the offices of the head of the City Council and the Lord Mayor. If you like, you can also talk to the representatives of the Municipal Administration and the parliamentary groups.

Visitors – young and old – can expect a varied programme of discussions, entertainment and guided tours to the hidden corners of the Römer. The city's employees are also looking forward to your visit and wish you lots of fun along with exciting insights into Frankfurt City Hall.
