Bus and rail tickets

Whether you’re a spontaneous passenger, a day guest or travelling in a group – among the tickets offered by the Rhine-Main transport association, every passenger will find the right ticket. You can obtain the tickets in 4 sales outlets of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt (Hauptwache, Konstablerwache, Bornheim Mitte underground station, Höchst station), at ticket machines, card-o-mat machines and at numerous private sales outlets. Tickets can also be purchased on the bus. Weekly, monthly and annual tickets can be ordered online.

In addition to the day ticket and/or group ticket the Frankfurt Card is particularly attractive for visitors. This 1-day or 2-day ticket from the Tourismus+Congress GmbH entitles passengers not only to a free ride on all RMV routes in the city including the airport. With this ticket, you also get discounted entry to the Frankfurt museums and other facilities (Zoo, Palm Garden, etc.). Furthermore, there is a discount on the regular city tours and discounts on all planned boat tours of Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt AG (KD) on the Rhine and Moselle.
