Online appointment

On TuesdaysThursdays and Fridays you need an appointment to visit the Citizens' Offices. New appointments are offered eight calendar days in advance for the same day of the following week (e.g. Tuesdays for Tuesday of the following week). Appointments are activated in the morning. It is not possible to book further in advance.

On Mondays and Wednesdays you can visit the Citizens' Offices without making an appointment in advance. Please note that on days with open consultation hours there may be longer waiting times, fuller waiting rooms and an early stop to the distribution of waiting tags.

The Branch Offices Fechenheim, Harheim, Kalbach and Nieder-Erlenbach can only be visited by appointment.

You can take care of your matters at any of our locations, no matter where you live in Frankfurt.

If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please cancel it in good time (see "Frequently Asked Questions"). By doing so, you give other people the opportunity to book the appointment that has become free. Otherwise the appointment will go unused. Thank you!

If you do not speak German very well, please bring an interpreter with you.

We have commissioned an external company to provide the appointment service. Your data will, therefore, be temporarily processed on their server. The necessary data transfer is encrypted (https). Please note that the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure and is, therefore, undertaken at your own risk. It cannot be ruled out that third parties may intercept or modify the data you transmit. By using this offer, you agree to the electronic processing of your data.

We assure you that your personal data and any contributions will only be used within the framework of the appointment and will be deleted immediately afterwards.

INTRODUCTION OF A NEW APPOINTMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Our eleven locations are currently being converted to a new appointment management software. Until all locations have been converted, the old and new booking systems will be operated in parallel.

Appointments for the Central Citizens' Office can already be made via the new appointment management system.

General information for your visit at the Citizens' Office

Current Notices

The renovation work in the office building "Zeil 3" is almost complete. Due to the relocation from the temporary location at Lange Straße 25-27 back to Zeil 3, the Central Citizens' Office will be closed from Friday, 1 March 2024 to Wednesday, 6 March 2024.

From Thursday, 7 March 2024, the rebuilt Citizens' Office at Zeil 3 will open during the usual service hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment to visit the Citizens' Offices?

  • On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays you need an appointment to visit the Citizens' Offices. New appointments are offered eight calendar days in advance for the same day of the following week (e.g. Tuesdays for the Tuesday of the following week). Appointments are activated during the morning. It is not possible to book further in advance.
  • On Mondays and Wednesdays, it is possible to visit the Citizens' Offices without making an appointment in advance. Please note that on days with open consultation hours there may be longer waiting times, fuller waiting rooms and an early stop to the distribution of waiting tags.
  • Visits to the Branch Offices Fechenheim, Harheim, Kalbach and Nieder-Erlenbach are only possible by appointment.

Why can't I find a new appointment?

  • Either all appointments are taken, not available or the combination of services you requested is not available. Please try again in the next few days or book your services individually.
  • It is also possible to visit the Citizens' Offices on Mondays and Wednesdays without an appointment. Please note that there may be longer queues, fuller waiting rooms and an early stop to the distribution of waiting tags on days when consultation hours are open.

Why are all appointments fully booked or greyed out for weeks?

  • Both fully booked and unavailable days are shown in grey.
  • New appointments are released eight calendar days in advance for the same day of the following week (e.g. Tuesdays for Tuesday of the following week). They are released during the morning. It is not possible to book further in advance.
  • On appointment days, there are approximately 1,500 to 2,000 appointments available in all Citizens' Offices.

How can I cancel my appointment?

  • Postponements are not possible.

Can I extend my appointment?

  • We can only take care of the services you have booked. Appointments are allocated based on the expected time required for the selected services. An extension with additional services is unfortunately not possible afterwards.

Residual Waste Bags, Rent Index and Tax Forms

You can get residual waste bags and the rent index at the Central Citizens' Office and at the Citizens 'Offices Höchst, Nordwest, Dornbusch and Sachsenhausen without making an appointment. An appointment is necessary for the Citizens' Office Bergen-Enkheim (except for the open consultation hours on Mondays and Wednesdays) and the Branch Offices Fechenheim, Harheim, Kalbach and Nieder-Erlenbach.

Tax forms are available at all locations (except at the Citizen's Office Nieder-Eschbach and at the Kalbach branch office) without prior appointment.
