Earth Hour 2022: Frankfurt Plunged its Skyline into Darkness

On 26 March 2022, millions of people around the world once again took a stand for environmental and climate protection and peace. Frankfurt am Main also turned the skyline dark: 173 companies, churches, institutions and offices participated and switched off the lights of their 207 buildings for Earth Hour. More than 100 of them have documented their participation in the Earth Hour GalleryExternal Link of the Municipal Energy Agency ("Energiereferat") of the City of Frankfurt am Main.
