Climate protection can be so simple and fun! One way you can help the planet is by being conscious of what you consume: In Germany, food consumption accounts for 14 per cent of the total CO2 footprint of each person. Choosing seasonal and regional, vegetarian and organic products not only reduces your carbon footprint and protects the environment, you also support the local producers.

The bees, biodiversity, the soil, the rainforest, the people and of course the climate – your diet has an impact on all of these.

What to expect and when?

The Klimagourmet 2.1 festival in Frankfurt, the Rhine-Main area and online provides inspiration for sustainable enjoyment and climate protection. The diverse programme will take place from 16 to 26 September 2021: Take part in an online workshop for foodies, discover the region on a tour, cook along, enjoy, chat with like-minded people and share recipe ideas. It's best to look for dates now!
