General Information

***Vaccine shortage affects Frankfurt hard***

From 30 November, vaccinations at the Hauptwache and all special vaccination campaigns will be cancelled.

The vaccination centre in hall 1.2 will remain open as long as possible. The new opening hours from Wednesday, 1 December, daily from 7 am to 9 pm will also remain in effect. However, depending on the availability of the required vaccine, the centre may also be closed temporarily.

The vaccination centre is located in hall level 1.2 at the Frankfurt Fair’s exhibition grounds  ("City" entrance, Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage). The City of Frankfurt would like to continue to offer vaccinations to all those who do not have the opportunity to get vaccinated by their family doctor or company doctor.

You can get vaccinated easily, without an appointment and free of charge:

  • Daily from 12 noon to 7 pm.
  • From 1 December 2021 daily from 7 am to 9 pm.

As the interest in vaccinations cannot be calculated, we ask for your understanding in case of waiting times.

If you would like to help speed up the process at the vaccination centre, we recommend that you bring the information sheet and the medical history form with the declaration of consent already printed out and completed. You can download the continuously updated documents on mRNA vaccines (also in simple language) from the website of the Robert Koch InstituteExternal Link.

The mRNA vaccine BionTech is available. Please note that first vaccinations with the mRNA vaccine Moderna are not possible.

As a matter of course, medical staff is still available on site.

For advice on COVID-19 vaccination, call 116 117.
