General Information

The mRNA vaccines from BioNTech and Moderna as well as the protein-based vaccine from Nuvaxovid (Novavax) are available. You can choose freely between the vaccines for the first and second vaccination until further notice. For pregnant women and persons between the age of 12 and 29, it is still recommended by the STIKO to be vaccinated with the vaccine from BioNTech.

COVID-19 booster vaccinations are possible for people aged 12 years and over and can be given after at least three months after the second vaccination according to the STIKO recommendation. For booster vaccination with the vaccine from Nuvaxovid (Novavax), an individual medical consultation and decision on site is necessary due to the STIKO recommendation.

The STIKO recommends a second booster vaccination for special groups of people. People at health risk can receive the second booster vaccination at the earliest three months after the first booster vaccination, medical and nursing staff at the earliest after six months.

If you would like to help speed up the process at the vaccination centres, we recommend that you bring the information sheet and the medical history form with the declaration of consent already printed out and completed. You can download the continuously updated documents on mRNA vaccinesExternal Link and on the protein-based vaccine NovovaxExternal Link (also in simple language) from the website of the Robert Koch Institute.

As a matter of course, medical staff is still available on site.
