The Museum Embankment Festival annually attracts some three million visitors. Its outstanding museum programmes, numerous stage presentations and colourful live performances ensure that the Museum Embankment Festival ranks amongst Europe's largest cultural festivals. Art, culture and music merge for three days into a large and spectacular festival. It is held directly on the banks of the River Main in the heart of the city. During this three-day event, the participating museums will keep their doors open well into the night until the festival ends on Sunday with a gigantic musical fireworks display.

Sculptures, paintings and installations will be on display at the "Kunstwiese" on the Sachsenhäuser embankment. Special objects, jewellery and clothing can be purchased at the international artists' market on the riverbank and on Schaumainkai. Culinary specialities from all over the world and, of course, from Frankfurt's cuisine will also be on offer.

The Museum Embankment Festival is organised by Tourismus + Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main.
